Worldwide Album chart - Top Ten 18/12/08

1 Beyonce - I am Sasha (2)*
2 Guns 'n' Roses - Chinese Democracy (1)
3 Akon - Freedom (3)
4 Coldplay - Viva La Vida (5)
5 Pink - Funhouse (8)
6 The Killers - Day and Age (4)
7 Britney Spears - Circus (9)
8 Kanye West - 808 & Heartbreak (7)
9 T.I. - Paper Trail (6)
10 AC/DC - Black Ice (10)

A bit of moving around in the top ten but all artists and albums from previous week are still there.
Nothing to report that is exciting though I am surprised not to see 'Take That' enter, but as this is a worldwide chart their UK popularity is negated when applied 'worldwide'.

* = Previous weeks position

Worldwide Album chart- Top Ten

In an effort to provide an 'alternative' (not musically speaking mind) Album chart for the 'world' market - not just UK/US or any other individual territory... I have decided on this master plan.
The chart is compiled using data from sources that are 'freely available'.

The chart will only include original artist albums - no dodgy compilations or 'summer hits' hogwash will be included.

Only the top Ten will be counted and previous weeks chart positions may also be included if I can keep track. (- hey I'm only human!)
