So it looks like Slick tyre's are back on the agenda for 2009 .... mentioned in passing at the beginning of the season as a possibility for 2009 , it seems they are on the agenda, as Williams/Toro Rosso/ Honda and also Ferrari have been testing slick tyres at Barcelona this week.
Interesting as Slick tyre's were taken away in order to reduce speeds in F1 as a safety measure (aerodynamics were seen as the cause of the Slick tyre's demise owing to the amount of mechanical grip being generated by active suspension etc).
Personally F1 is about 'speed' so I welcome their return.
