The Back of the new Apple 3G Iphone ..allegedly!

The back of the 'New 2nd Gen Iphone (allegedly) the back is no longer metal.
Screen resolution to be about the same, addition of 3g and GPS is on the cards though these rumours are all over the web, so is it hope or fact?

Headphone jack is (allegedly) now flush not recessed.
Battery life still the same (though GPS and 3G do put more strain on the battery so that remains to be confirmed methinks).
And battery still not removable.. now there's a surprise!

July is looking like a release date, but the WWDC in San Francisco is due on June 9-13th and that is normally when Apple do there 'one last thing trick'..........

Spain F1 Qualifying Ferrari- Raikkonen on pole.

A stunning last lap of qually puts Kimi on pole and snatch's the pole from Alonso.
A surprisingly resurgent Renault - but probably fuel light - Pat symonds hinted at that when he referred to Nelson Piquet's 10th place - more representative maybe ?

McLaren continue into dismal form with Hamilton 5th and teammate 6th - oh well never mind eh lads hehehehe

Massa continues to show brilliance while still managing to get it wrong at the crucial moment and ends up 3rd - he showed signs of clinching pole at the start of the third qually but then just lost the rhythm and hence the pace.

Kubica still shows he's a fighter and not to be dismissed ...with a respectable 4th for BMW/Sauber

Looks like it could be quite an interesting start tomorrow a few grudges and world championship points to fight for on those opening laps... I for one can't wait!

Unlocking the Iphone on a Mac with Ziphone 3.0

Posted a link to this video for a couple of reasons ,
1 it's the only decent video i could find that was based on unlocking the iphone on a Mac
2 It shows you the process on an unopened (eg: Brand New ) Iphone.

I Have an interest in this as this is maybe the way i will be going in a couple of weeks ....as my friends know i'm very cautious when it comes to things like this - so a couple of weeks or so investigation and deliberation is not unheard of on my part.

Anyway we shall see what I decide in the future...

Ferrari F1 Slick tyre 2009?

So it looks like Slick tyre's are back on the agenda for 2009 .... mentioned in passing at the beginning of the season as a possibility for 2009 , it seems they are on the agenda, as Williams/Toro Rosso/ Honda and also Ferrari have been testing slick tyres at Barcelona this week.

Interesting as Slick tyre's were taken away in order to reduce speeds in F1 as a safety measure (aerodynamics were seen as the cause of the Slick tyre's demise owing to the amount of mechanical grip being generated by active suspension etc).

Personally F1 is about 'speed' so I welcome their return.

Portishead Performed on the 'Later Live' program last night , excellent it was , for you ppl who missed it - you can watch it on the BBC Iplayer (think this is UK only though). Anyway was excellent and made much more sense as a track when performed live , ethereal vocals over machine dystopia ...fantastic.

Fiorentini + Baker 'Elf' Casual Boots... never been obsessed with footwear before...

Tried these boots on in a 'Sole' shop in the Trafford centre in Manchester (Uk)- six months ago - cost £200!!! lots of gulping ...and sucking of air between teeth.... then walked away ... haunted me ever since ...barsteward things!!

ahh, nostalgia is a wonderful thing, the things you remember as being great or good are revisited and you find em slightly - shall we say 'worn round the edges'?

Never been a great disco fan , but hey I was a young kid when saturday night fever /Grease et'al was out , so the sight of three (at that time) attractive ladies gyrating was bound to catch my eye...... looking back mind you at the video ..can't think why i wasn't whipped down the opticians straight away!

Well a historic victory in Bahrain for Ferrari .... the opposition truly annihilated .....

Strange I can't hear the lewis fans anymore (Probably too busy shouting at Alonso and Renault thinking about it).... hehehehe McLaren are going to struggle to beat BMW this season if they don't get their act together.

Shame Raikonnen did not take the win ...but hey I'm happy with a strong 2nd place and five points infront of the nearest McLaren driver.

Coldplay - New Album - Prospekt - Viva La Vida - Death and all his Friends

Coldplay's new album is slated for a mid-May release.
The songs are said to be 'very different' from the previous 'Trilogy' of Coldplay's output - taking a more percussive and distorted guitar backdrop to Chris Martins more personal and real vocal performance.

Produced by Brian Eno, who was brought onboard in the new year.
Eno was quoted as saying on BBC's front row program (in January) "(it) will be very original and very different from what they've done before."

As per my previous post on March the 23rd, The silly season (at Ferrari at least) has already started, Massa is under pressure to perform this wknd, and if he doesn't ..well there's that Alonso bloke waiting in the wings to take his seat in 09, That has got to be Ferrari's worst kept secret. Mind you Vettel is being eyed up by Ferrari as well - but that would be a mid season swap if the worse came to the worse with Massa - and as we know he doesn't perform well under pressure does our Massa.

Radiohead Remix Site Nude/Stems

Radiohead have announced today a Re-mixable version of 'Nude' available from the ITunes store, so for a small amount of money you can save them £20,000 on getting some bloke in to do a crap re-mix for a b-side. Though I'm sure they don't see it quite like that - cynical moi?
