It seems people ((is that the tone of generalization I hear in your voice ?) ..no I'm trying not to generalize here)) strive to find a group of friends that can appeal to all facets of there life and needs ...and sometimes yea we all meet up like lifestyle advert for mobile phones or in an episode of friends ...but in alot of peoples lives it's not quite like that.

What we are is so much determined by our journey through life ..and experiences. That we have to sometime take stock of how far we have travelled not how far we want to go sometimes.

Am speed testing my ISP at the mo (as I've upgraded to 10mb from 4mb) - have to say at the moment I'll be going back to 4mb ..it's faster for the money !!

I just got very wet on the way home from work.....took me 30mins in the shower to warm up !! - just thought i'd share that with you.

Just remembered why I was typing that ...went of on one I know sorry ..hit a short term memory loss problem ... or 'Loop' as I call it ...anyway I got a new camera at the weekend ..and I've not got round to using it 1/2 as much as I wanted to ..didn't help by finishing work late tonight either.

Anyway hopeing to get more pictures with it this weekend :) and test it's limits somewhat ..or probably mine lol

The problem with Life is sometimes there is just not enought time .....or as some annoying people say 'you can make time' yea right show me a time making machine then ..go on .go on ..show me ??? ...no thought not ..you haven't got one have you ? no ..well shut up saying things about 'Making time' then!! ..

ok of the rant now ..anyway as i was going to say before i was rudely interrupted.... there's not enough time ..and that smeggy work thing gets in the way an all!!

have to say that I never had much time for 'Radiohead' , but Thom Yorke's performance of Analyse on the Mercury awards has made me sit up and take note of his album...god I may be one step closer to middleage rock than i thought I was ...as the great Morrissey once said 'Dear God please help me'

Still managed to miss the Editors even on the repeat showing ....and they say we learn from our mistakes ...yea right.

it's gone dark..when did that happen ??? ...one minute the sun was setting and now it's pitch black ...not sure about this short day lark.....

Just had to rescue the kitten (see photo of said cat on my Flickr page) from outside the bathroom window...not allowed out at the mo, so it decided to climb out of the bathroom window...good job we have a flat roof under the window or it would have been out there quite a while as I've got no ladders!!

speaking of the mercury prize ..my money goes on Thom Yorke ..just enough street cred ..and out there artyness to get the arty types to feel they are at the cutting edge of new music ...see the Times journalist feel smug ..and listen to the torygraph ..oops telegraph say how they always thought he was a classic star blah blah blah...mind you have discovered that I still hate Jazz....always sounds like a piano with the rest of the accompanying insts being thrown down a spiral staircase to me.

well I dissapeared from blogging land ...is it a land or a 'nothingness' that exists in wires ? ..anyway was of to watch the Mercury Prize ....on bbc4 (?) and to record the Editors who were appearing ..they did perform live ..but I was having a technophobe moment and couldn't be assed to sort out the av channels so i could record straight away if needed ...... so of course they knew ..and the editors were straight on ......so missed that then!!

ok tested links the Poem has a 'Malformed video Link' ..sounds painful that does... so that link is poo at the mo.... Flickr one works though...so that's 1 out of 2 then

ok I was wrong the server has updated ...aRRGGHH !! I can't even 2nd guess things anymore...I wonder if reverse psychology works on servers as much as it does on kids .....???

when scanning across Blogging sites to use ..decide on Eblogger.... cos it's free and i'm a northerner...so true to type really .... ( sure there is a pun in there somewhere ..anyway ..) one of the comments I saw was 'you can always tell a rank beginner by the fact it says edit me ..edit me down the sidebar ..well he's riight (or her) cos I just changed em ..woohooo edit html all by my lonesome ...but and there is a but ...the preview showed the changes and the actual blog page still say 'edit me edit me' ..it's goading me isn't it ? ah well as they always say maybe the server will update ...yea right!!

Aren't birthdays a pain - I mean when they come round it's never yours is it !! and then as in mycase you discover that all these traps ..like putting birthdays in your phone and on your Ical ..are not this particular one .... so as you can guess I missed it ..ah well managed to save the day by printing a 'personal' birthday card of a photo I'd taken ..the friend in question was well pleased ..and said she'd keep it for posterity ..so Result then!!
